The First Baptist Church is seeking supernatural strength to tackle security challenges in Nigeria.
After their annual revival service, the Acting Senior Pastor, Tom Takpatore, revealed this to the press in Garki, Abuja.
The purpose of the revival is for the congregation to come together to seek God’s intervention, renew their personal faith, and strengthen their love for Him.
Reverend Igho, a servant of God from Warri, is leading the congregation during this year’s revival, focusing on the theme of “supernatural strength” from Psalm 46, emphasising that God is their refuge and strength.
Pastor Takpatore mentioned that Nigerians are looking up to God for supernatural strength to guide and protect the nation through these challenging times.
He emphasised that Nigeria has faced increased insecurity in recent years, but faith in God and responsible citizenship can help address these issues.
He called on Nigerians to support one another and encourage the government to fulfil its promises, believing that the nation can become more secure with prayer and collective effort.
