Management of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited has earmarked N1bn for the construction of concrete roads inside its estates in the Laderin and Kobape area of Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The construction and rehabilitation of the roads, the management said, will enhance quality of the infrastructure inside the Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments, Pelican Pelican Brief Estate, Pelican Greenish Acres Farm Estate and the Pelican Valley Estate.
CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria limited, Dr Babatunde Adeyemo, who made the disclosure during a guided tour at Kobape, noted that the construction of roads inside the estate at Laderin is expected to be completed on May 18, 2023.
He added that Mr Cyprian Emesuruman, an expert with over thirty years of experience has been commissioned to commence the direct labour construction of the roads.
Adeyemo also revealed that an Ireland-based investor, Mr Adewale Obadina, is set to build a multi-billion naira holiday resort on his acquired acres of land in the estate at Kobape.
Also speaking during the tour, Obadina said: “What is happening here is wonderful. It is a big dream unfolding and by the grace of God it will be fully accomplished.”
