I want to call on the Federal Government to complete the Ibadan-Ilorin Expressway; the first leg of the project from Ibadan to Oyo had been completed by the past administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan, and the second leg is just from Oyo to Ilorin. This road needs to be completed fast because of the high rate of accidents happening on the Oyo-Ogbomoso road.
Before the completion of the Ibadan-Oyo part, a lot of innocent people had died on the old road to Oyo, but the expressway has brought about a drastic reduction in road accidents.
It is, therefore, important that the Federal Goverment also takes the second part of the project seriously so that innocent people will not be losing their lives on the Ogbomoso-Oyo road.
