Good road networks promote inter-state trade and reduce traffic holdups. The Badagry/Sokoto road was commenced by the General Olusegun Obasanjo regime in 1978. If completed, it will promote commerce and benefit those moving from Badagry to Oyo, Kwara and Niger states. Since 1979 when Obasanjo handed over power to Alhaji Shehu Shagari, the road has remained an abandoned project. It would be highly appreciated if President Muhammadu Buhari can complete it.
