Giving the assurance  during an inspection visit to the power plant, Minister of  Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, also commended  Governor Hope Uzodinma, for his dedication to collaborating with the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) to complete the critical power infrastructure projects.

Accompanied by the Managing Director (NDPHC), Chief Chiedu Ugbo, the minister praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the 2023 Electricity Act, which allows states to participate in the electricity sector.

Adelabu also praised Governor Uzodinma for his commitment to working with NDPHC to expedite completion of the Egbema power plant and associated transmission projects, which will improve electricity supply not only in Imo State but also nationwide.
