PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has removed Dr Abdullahi Bichi Baffa as the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
He has equally approved the reinstatement of a former Executive Secretary of the Fund, Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro to replace Baffa, who incidentally took over from him in 2016.
Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, who conveyed this in a statement on Monday said, the reinstatement of Prof. Bogoro is with immediate effect.
Adamu, however, did not give any reason for the sudden removal of the incumbent Executive Secretary, Dr Abdullahi Bichi Baffa, and reinstatement of Bogoro to take over from him.

This could not immediately be ascertained from the TETFund management either at the time of filing this report. It was however gathered that Bogoro had already resumed duty at the Fund.
The Minister in the statement signed by Deputy Director, Information, Mr Ben Bem Goong, said Bogoro reinstatement was with the same terms and conditions as it were in his previous appointment and as stipulated in the TETFund staff conditions of service.
Prof Suleiman Bogoro was the Executive Secretary of TETFUND between April 2014 and February 2016.
