FCT Police Command has arrested one Musa Mukailu and one Damina Wali, both male, aged 18 and 17 respectively, suspected to be kidnappers along the Kwali axis of the FCT.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Asp Daniel Y Ndirpaya, the commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Babaji Sunday said on interrogation the suspects confessed being members of a kidnapping syndicate.
The police boss said the suspects met their waterloo while trying to kidnap two women along kwali axis of the FCT and were arrested by operatives of the Commands anti-kidnapping section while on routine patrol, while efforts are in place to arrest other members of the syndicate.
Babaji added that the Command remains undeterred and firm to ensure the lives and properties of residents within the FCT are protected.
He urged FCT residents to report all suspicious movements, emergency or distress, through the following numbers: 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653 and 08028940883.

He advised that comments and observations should be dropped in any of the police suggestion boxes located at Berger roundabout, Area 1 round about and Federal Secretariat, Abuja.
