A government statement on Friday said “Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has approved the appointment of the following people as members of the State Executive Council:
“Kola Kolade, Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice; Ayo Alabi, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs; Lanre Ogunsuyi, Information, Youths and Sports; Taye Otitoju, Lands and Gbenga Olajide, Budget and Planning.”
The statement, signed by the governor’s special assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, added that “Jide Egunjobi, Education, Science and Technology; Chief Tunde Ogunleye, Water Resources and Mrs Olayinka Ogundayomi, Women Affairs” were the other new commissioners.
Governor Ayodele Fayose had announced in the morning of Sunday, July 2 2017, the sacking of his cabinet and relieved his commissioners of their duties.
