The Former Governor who was all smiles was surrounded by heavy security.
According to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Fayose received ₦1.2 billion to fund his 2014 gubernatorial campaign in Ekiti State, a sum they said he ought to have known formed part of the proceeds of an unlawful act.
The former Governor was earlier arraigned on Monday on an 11 count charge but he had pleaded not guilty.
The matter was adjourned till today by the presiding Judge, Justice Mojisola Olatoregun to hear Fayose’s bail application.
Fayose who has been in EFCC custody is expected to be granted bail this morning.
