As Muslims mark Eid-el-Maulud, Plateau state governor, Mr Simon Bako Lalong has enjoined the Muslims to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Maulud to demonstrate love to one another and others who are not of their faith.
Governor Lalong in a goodwill message to the Muslim Ummah said the occasion provides another opportunity for sober reflection where the virtues of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) will resonate with all Muslims as they demonstrate love.

He called on Muslims to continue to pray for the nation and to uphold leaders at all levels so they can be granted the ability to tackle the nation’s problems and also enjoined the citizens of Plateau state to show love and tolerance to consolidate on the prevailing peace in the state.
Governor Lalong assured that his administration will continue to work towards building lasting legacies for Plateau state through its three-pillar policy thrust of peace, security and good governance, infrastructural development and economic rebirth.
