The median edition of the Valentine’s Day concert, which tends to take a lead among all the celebrations, billed to mark this year’s Val, will set the city of Lagos agog.
It will headline music legends: Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi and South Africa’s best female voice artiste, Judith Sephuma.
The event scheduled for the Dome Freedom Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, will also feature Waje, Cobhams, Nosa, Alibaba, among others.
The Olomi crooner, who will thrill guests with his love hits, told R that the idea of Song Of Tosin came from the Song Of Solomon, adding, “It is one of the best love literatures ever written and very adaptable to music. I thought to use my name being the reality in the present. It’s a Valentine’s Day concert I intend to keep staging annually and provide an event for people to take their loved ones to as one of the highlights of the day.
“Each edition will feature one continental or international act. This edition will have the pleasure of one of South Africa’s best female voices, Judith Sephuma. She was on the One Africa project with other top African acts just a while ago and one that will blow the minds of all who attend the concert, while music icon, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi will support to relive his romantic hit of yesteryears, as well as Waje, Cobhams and Nosa.”
