The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), United Kingdom District, has awarded Dr. Babatope Agbeyo, Chairman of Cornfield Group of Companies, the Distinguished Speaker title at its 11th International Accountants’ Conference.
The conference, themed “Cross-border Integration for Economic Resilience,” was recently held at the Hilton Hotels in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Babatope Agbeyo, represented by his son Tolulope Agbeyo, Managing Director of Botosoft Technologies, delivered a discourse on “Digitization: Navigating Opportunities and Challenges in Cross-Border Integration.”

Addressing the challenges of cross-border integration, Dr. Babatope emphasized the need to enhance digital infrastructure through public-private partnerships for improved connectivity. He advocated for harmonized regulatory frameworks, citing the example of the Smart Africa Alliance.
