A seven-year-old emerging female stand-up comediene, Emmanuella of the Mark Angel comedy recently said she dreamt that Don Jazzy and Linda Ikeji were married already.
The baby comedienne, who quipped that she prayed after she woke up, asked that her dream come to pass.
It has also been reported that Peter Okoye of P-Square have been pulling strings to make the relationship work.
Don Jazzy, not his fans, however, sparked the rumour of a likely union, after he sent a light-hearted social media missile to the celebrity blogger months ago.
The music tactician had tweeted to Linda Ikeji at the twilight of the movie-turned-reality marriage proposal between EME owner, Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W and Nollywood act, Adesua Etomi. Banky proposed to Adesua shortly after co-acting in the blockbuster, Wedding Party, where they were newly-wed.
Inspired by the movie-to-reality union, Don Jazzy had tweeted: “Dear @LindaIkeji I wrote one movie script like that. I will be the lead actor in it. Abeg u sabi act?
‘Yes o, I can act very well sef. lol. As long as we can air it on Linda Ikeji TV *wink*’
The response of the blogger gave no little encouragement to fans who believe that the two celebrities could be made for each other.
However, some sources, who have reported different dimensions of the hypothesis have queried why the Dorobucci arrowhead chose the former-beauty-queen-turned-blogger among other single ladies in the industry and beyond.
Some have come up with qualities that make Linda Ikeji a great match for Mr Ajereh including that she is single, rich, caring and emotionally secure. Others have engaged fans in an online vote where Linda Ikeji trumped other Don Jazzy female admirers including Rihanna, Halima Abubakar.
But the pressure continues to mount for the Mavin boss, whose plot to get out of bachelorhood seems to thicken not only because of Banky W’s engagement, but also now that D’banj, a former label mate, has become a father.
Though the Looku Looku crooner has been seeking counsel on how to land the right bride, it is evident, from the catalogue of his female admirers, that the established producer wants an emotionally and financially secure woman.
