An Abuja-based photo studio, DeoAgoz has presented a cash prize to Arike Adedamola, an 18-year-old undergraduate of Theater Arts, as a reward for the Most Photogenic Person in a contest, held by the studio in Abuja.
The presentation of the cash prize was anchored by His Royal Majesty, Oba Hammed Adekunle Makama Oyelude, Tegbosun III, Olowu of Kutaland, Osun State, who presented the cash prize of N50,000 on behalf of the organisers to Afrocentric Models, last Tuesday.
The DeoAgoz Studio situated in Abuja and owned by a seasoned journalist-turned-businesswoman, Adeola Agoro, noted that photography is not only an art, but a therapy that makes people happy. She added that this would be the first of many other contests from their company.

“It is our promise to promote photography through contests and competition. This prize followed our promise to reward the lucky winner of Most Photogenic Person contest with a cash prize. This will go a long way to boost the confidence of the winner as well as make photography something to look forward to,” she said.
The permanent member, Osun State Council of Obas and Member, Iwo Traditional Council Chairman, Supreme Council of Owu Obas, HRM Oba Hammed Adekunle congratulated the winner and encourage the promoter of the competition to do more in ways to empower the young generation and lets them use their beauty for good.
