The state leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko yesterday said that they are already doing a final burial of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State.
Wamakko, stated this in Denge town, headquarters of Denge-Shuni local government during the Sokoto State APC campaign flag off, adding that, APC is the only party that means well for the state and Nigeria.
While presenting the party’s flag to Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and Faruk Malami Yabo as the governor and deputy candidates of the party, Wamakko said by God’s grace, the election is already won.
According to him, APC as a party has tried to bring politicians who fear God, who loves the state and who are ready to work for the state.
“This journey is for all of you. Come out en masse and ensure that PDP gets a final burial in the state. Cast all your votes for the APC. Cast all your votes for President Muhammadu Buhari in the coming general elections.”
On his part, the Campaign Coordinator of the zone, Alhaji Umaru Nagwari Tambuwal said no politician in the state commands followership like Senator Aliyu Wamakko.
“We are doing official burial ceremony of PDP in the state. We learnt former governor, Dalhatu Bafarawa petitioned EFCC that he left 13 billion in Sokoto’s coffers before leaving office.

“APC is challenging Bafarawa today to come out and state which bank and the amount number such money was saved.
“We have done our calculation and come to the conclusion that PMB is going to win in 26 states with the exclusion of Abuja.”
Nagwari Tambuwal also appealed to party faithful to go back and tell their people to join the wining train.
Speaking earlier, the state APC chairman, Sadiq Isa Achida said, no fewer than 10,900 PDP members from both Tambuwal and Denge-Shuni defected to APC during the flag off.
Achida further divulged that a good number of those serving in the PDP-led state government are with them in the APC, hence working as spies for them.
“I want to appreciate the entire people of the state for their resolution to vote APC massively because of Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko’s leadership.”
The governorship candidate of APC, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto promised to deliver good governance when elected as the next governor of the state.
He assured that his government will be all inclusive and people friendly unlike the present hostile scenario experienced in the state.
