The House of Representatives on Tuesday in Abuja passed the new National Minimum Wage Bill pegged at N30,000 for workers in the country.
They approved N30,000 after the bill was read and passed for the third time on the floor of the green chamber of the National Assembly.
The lawmakers passed the bill during plenary presided over by Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara.
The House then adjourned plenary till February 19, after the Presidential and National Assembly elections.

The legislators after passing the Minimum Wage Bill did not deliberate on the 2019 Appropriation Bill, which is still before the House, before moving for the adjournment.
