A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Borno, Muhammad Abbayo Gidado has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Alh Abubakar Kyari as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security.
He described the development as the best thing to have happened to the agricultural sector of the country considering the intention of the Federal Government to ensure availability of food to cushion the negative effects of the fuel subsidy removal.
The appointment is believed to be in the right direction as the President Bola Tinubu-led APC administration is striving to ensure food security through investment and promotion of the Sector hitherto neglected by previous administration.
The assertion was made by a politician, Muhammad Abbayo Gidado while reacting to the appointment during a press interaction in Bauchi on Saturday.
He said, “The appointment as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security is a reflection of his outstanding capabilities and the trust and confidence placed in him by the President Bola Tinubu led Federal Government.”
According to him, “We have no doubt that he will bring his exceptional skills, vision, and unwavering integrity to this pivotal role. This remarkable achievement is a testament to his exceptional leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service.”
Muhammad Gidado added that Abubakar Kyari’s tireless efforts in promoting excellence and fostering growth have left an indelible mark on Borno stand Nigeria at large.
“We are very confident that he will continue to serve as a beacon of wisdom, integrity, and vision. His unwavering commitment to public service and ability to navigate complex challenges with grace and compassion will undoubtedly make a significant impact on the lives of countless citizens in the area of food availability and security,” he stressed.
He stressed that if agricultural sector is well boosted and food security guaranteed for Nigerians, the negative effects of the fuel subsidy removal will be mitigated.
