The founder of the Big Brain Naija reality television show, Dr Charles Awuzie, has unveiled plans for the show, seizing the opportunity to seek partnerships from notable global brands and businesses.
The South African-based Nigerian businessman revealed this in a document he released through his verified Facebook page.
Awuzie described Big Brain Naija as an entertaining intellectual alternative to sell Nigeria to the world through innovative and thought-provoking content that deviates from conventional reality TV norms.
According to him, the show will combine entertainment, intellectual prowess, and entrepreneurship to harness the abilities of Nigerians to promote innovation and reward hard work among the contestants.
The TV show will feature 12 contestants, aged 18 to 55, drawn from various fields of endeavour. It will also feature 12 shows, including comedy and roasts, infotainment, a game show, a talent show, a food show, a pitch session, and challenges, among others.
The document revealed that the show will air on both satellite and online video streaming platforms, including web and mobile applications, to give viewers access to voting and also to comment on the show.
Awuzie stated that the global market for the show encompasses a diverse audience and that the major sources of revenue for the show will stream from sponsorship, advertisement slots, product placements, and voting.
“We look forward to working with you on this extraordinary project,” he added.
