The Force Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said bail is free, paying for it causes more harm to the system.
Olumuyiwa made this known via his Twitter handle @Princemoye1 on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
While replying to a tweet, he made it known that paying for bail is not helping the force system.
“For paying the bail money, you have not helped the system. You have even caused more harm to the system”.
He urges citizens to take it up with anyone who charges for bail when issued an invoice.
”Perhaps you were issued an invoice? So sort it out with them, or you take it up with them. I have warned people severally not to pay for bail.”
