Are zero sugar drinks helpful?

In my attempt to stop adding weight, I decided to be taking zero sugar soft drinks but I discovered that they even taste sweeter than conventional soft drinks. Can you tell me why? Will zero sugar drinks make me to lose weight?

Contrary to the popularly held belief that zero sugar soft drinks (Diet Soda) can help you to lose weight, the truth is that not only does the preparation doesn’t help you to lose weight, it also has countless negative effects on your health. This is because diet soda is loaded with artificial sweeteners and chemicals that can be harmful to your body. Most are sweetened with artificial sugar substitutes which may cause you to eat more and eventually lead to greater weight gain than eating foods sweetened with regular sugar would. Zero sugar drinks will not aid your weight-loss efforts and have several negative effects on your body. The best solution is to drink water.
