GOV Abubakar Bello of Niger on Friday voted for President Muhammadu Buhari in the ongoing APC presidential primaries and advised party members to ensure a peaceful conduct of subsequent primary elections.
The governor, who voted at his Central Ward in Kontagora, advised losers in the other party primaries to accept the outcome and support the party to victory in the secondary elections scheduled to hold in February 2019.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 214 accredited party members in the ward affirmed the president’s nomination as the APC flag bearer in the presidential race.

Bello urged party members to participate in the primaries so as to elect candidates of their choice.
Alhaji Lawal Abdullahi, Chairman, Central Ward of the APC in Kontagora, said that 214 accredited members of the party affirmed the president, and thanked them for their orderly conduct during the exercise.
