And Nigerian celebs aligned with Met Gala theme for ‘Oceans 8’ premiere

The Oceans 8 movie premiere held this week at the IMAX cinemas in Lekki and Nigerian celebrities stole the show in their Met Gala themed looks!

In Hollywood, the Met Gala theme ‘Heavenly bodies: Fashion and the Catholic imagination‘ left some unforgettable fashion moments like Rihanna doing the most in her papal outfit, Jared Leto’s adoption of Christ’s image at the red carpet and other looks certainly shook tables.

Our celebs lived up to their names at the premiere of the all female heist movie featuring the dread haired Rihanna, Anna Hathaway, Sandra Bullock among others. And like the Hollywood version, no glam went unnoticed whether sticking to the theme or not.

Glamorous couture outfits, head wears and trendsetting beauty looks were the major highlights of the night. From Osas Ighodaro who showed up in her thigh-high black dress to Kate Henshaw who nailed the theme in her African-inspired Met theme, these looks were the highlight of the Oceans 8 movie premiere in Lagos!

Abolaji Ayinde stunned in her custom Nouva Couture mono strap dress and headpiece by Urez Kulture. Vimbai Mutinhiri brought the magic in her stunning Gert Johan-Coetzee multi-toned decolletage baring dress!
