Tribune Online present in the government house saw all the lawmakers in a long bus and few other in their official cars accompanied by the speaker and other principal officers troop into government house.
Tribune Online also met a prominent contractor, Alhaji Isah who led them into the government house straight into governor’s office for the meeting.
Reports from the state indicated that the meeting emanated from recent crises between the legislature and executives sometime last week.
The legislatures were not happy with the way and manner the executive handling the matters of the state especially finances and government asset and properties.
Members of the state house of assembly recently complained and asked its committee on appropriation to investigate how the governor through the ministry for local government spent a huge sum of money out of the budget and the 27 local government councils procured primary school furniture.
Also, the lawmakers accused the governor of selling government properties in Lagos without due process.
They (Members) put blame on the deputy governor, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan for alleging misleading the government despite being a lawyer and well conversant with the constitution and the law of the land.
