Ogun East Senator-elect, Gbenga Daniel is a man of many parts!

The Chairman of Kresta Laurel engineering, who governed Ogun State for eight years must have mastered the skills of Shirley Scott, Lonnie Smith and other famous organists as he stunned many recently with an outstanding performance on the keyboards.

The politician fondly called ‘OGD’ by admirers staged what is regarded as the biggest choir concert in Ogun State some days ago at the Abraham’s Tabernacle inside his Sagamu mansion.

The concert themed, ‘grateful heart’ attracted the who-is-who in the government circle and politics in Ogun State.

The highlight of the programme was an organ performance by the former governor, who exhibited unknown skills, displaying some theatrics with the manuals and pedals, which elicited surprise and applause from the people.

The concert is said to be the second edition staged by the former governor, who explained the event as a form of giving back to the church and encouraging the art of singing with reward to competitors in the choir.
