55 Superintendents of Police decorated in Lagos

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, decorated the Deputy Police image maker in charge of the command, Stephen Kuti, and fifty-four senior officers on Friday.

The decorated officers were recently promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police from Deputy Superintendent of Police.

The Lagos police boss, while congratulating the newly-promoted officers, urged them to maintain high standards in their conduct.

Fayoade said, “You must exhibit the best character at all times, be a good listener, a problem solver, and be available to the public.”

He added, “Having a new rank does not mean you are a lord in your community, unit, or family. Your new rank should make you more humble, responsible, and responsive.”

“Your promotion is a call to duty, a call to service, and a call to more responsibilities. You must endeavor to make a difference with your new rank.”
