As aspiration of Hon. Azeez Bello, popularly known as Arole, continues to gain acceptance, stakeholders within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remoland in Ogun State on Saturday endorsed him to contest the Remo Federal Constituency seat in 2027.
The elders and leaders collectively adopted Hon. Bello as their preferred candidate, offering heartfelt prayers for his success.
Bello commenced his consultation by engaging with three prominent political groups in Ogun State, the DA Legacy, Progressive Group, and Pacesetters Teams.
During these meetings, he expressed his intention to run for the House of Representatives, extending his appreciation for their unwavering support and acknowledging their pivotal roles in the political landscape.
The leadership of these formidable groups responded positively, endorsing his candidacy.
They demonstrated solidarity by accompanying him to a subsequent meeting with the Sagamu APC elders, further strengthening his support base.
At the gathering with Sagamu APC elders, Bello reiterated his commitment to sustaining and enhancing the legacy of the late Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga (Ijaya).
The elders lauded his dedication and track record as Hon. Zaccheaus Owosina highlighted Bello’s deep-rooted presence and capability, urging party elders to support him for a greater Remo.
Elder Ade Adesanya (Ade & Ade) commended Bello’s unwavering commitment and contributions to the party, recognizing him as a formidable candidate.
In the same vein, Elder Yakubu expressed profound approval, stating, “This is our beloved son, in whom we’re well pleased,” and emphasized that Sagamu should rightfully complete its term, acknowledging the Governor’s awareness of this sentiment.
Aare Jimi Olatunji, known for his candour, affirmed the Governor’s alignment with their stance, asserting their steadfast support for the Governor and confidence that the appropriate actions will be taken, and Otunba Oloore Samsondeen Adedapo Osho, an apex leader, enthusiastically praised Arole’s sacrifices and commitment to grassroots development, expressing personal admiration for his dedication.
In response, Arole expressed deep gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a greater Remo and enhancing the well-being of its citizens.
