A frontline People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirant, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso says the country needs a vibrant leader with proven integrity to rescue the nation dwindling economy from its near comatose stage.
He decried the application of executive priorities to frivolous matters that negate vigorous development, promised to provide purposeful leadership that will transform the national economy at the shortest period of time.
The former Kano State Governor, who recently defected from the All Progressive Congress APC, to PDP to pursue his presidential interest, stated this at a stakeholders meeting held on Saturday, in Awka, the Anambra State capital, with the Anambra state party executives, solicits for the support of the state delegates to vote wisely in the coming party national convention.
Hundreds of Kwakwasia-movement supporters thronged the capital city of Awka, chanting solidarity songs to usher in the visit of their national leader, Senator Musa Rabiu Kwakwaso.
The Kwakwasia train which started from the boundary between Anambra and Enugu State at Amansea, having it supporters adorned in their red and white colourful dresses and hats, with the message that says give Kwankwaso a chance to lead Nigeria.
Addressing the PDP state executives, Senator Rabiu Kwakwaso admonished the party members to imbue the habit to change the nation’s political narratives by voting a competent candidate in the coming PDP national convention.

The PDP presidential aspirant, Musa Kwakwaso praised the contributions of Ndigbo in nation building, adding that the nation deserves a visionary leader that will provide robust policies of the government that will boost the country economy.
Responding, the State chairman of the party, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, who spoke on behalf the chapter said they need for the People Democratic Party PDP, to elect a credible candidate, whose integrity according to him would reshape the people views about the party in the coming elections.
Chief Nwobu, who also bear his minds on the need for the party to present candidates that will command the collective respect of Nigerians in the 2019 general elections, added that the state chapter would continue to pray for the serving Senator, Dr Musa Kwakwaso to ensure that his presidential aspiration come true as the next President of Nigeria.
