THE Senator representing Anambra Central at the National Assembly Chief Victor Umeh says the people oriented government enthroned in Anambra State by the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA in the past twelve years and ten months would enhance the chances of the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections in the country.
Senator Umeh made this assertion while exchanging views with newsmen at Aguluzigbo in Anaocha local government area of Anambra State.
Chief Umeh said that APGA has used Anambra State to practically demonstrate to Nigerians that it is the most people oriented and open political party in the country in this Fourth Republic.
He described the conducive security situation in Anambra state as the most admirable in the country as well as the West and Central African regions, pointing out that it shows that Nigeria would be socio-economically safer under APGA administration, thus improving the nation’s environment for the influx of local and foreign investments.
Senator Umeh who is a former National chairman of APGA enthused that the party is waxing stronger, adding that this would become more glaring after the coming general elections in Nigeria.
He however noted that the fielding of retired General John Gbor as the Presidential standard bearer of APGA would boost the chances of all National Assembly candidates of the party who would be voted at the same time during the presidential poll next month.
