PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday arrived Sokoto State to resume his nationwide political campaign for the general elections.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the president on Jan 22 presided over the meeting of the National Council of State at the State House, Abuja.

The council of state took major decisions on national issues including that on the National Minimum Wage.
The National Council of State had approved N27,000 as the new national minimum wage and lauded the preparations of the Independent National Electoral Commission for the conduct of the forthcoming general elections.
Buhari is also expected to take his campaign train to Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State later in the day.
