THE campaign train of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has received no fewer than 8,000 members from All Progressive Congress (APC) in Wamakko Local Government.
Addressing the mamoth crowd gathered in Wamakko town on Wednesday, Tambuwal urged the defectors to work for the progress of the party, at all levels while assuring them of inclusive government.
He reassured the people of Wamakko Local Government of implementing more developmental projects if elected for the second term as Governor.
Meanwhile, the former Governor of the State, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa described the current political situation against APC in the state as not PDP members but for all the members of the state.

According to Bafarawa, ” This is a Clarion call to for the development of our State and the country at large.
“I urge all of you to tell your friends and relatives, vote for all the candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming general elections,” he advised.
The Peoples Democratic Party later landed in Shuni town, headquarters of Denge-Shuni Local Government as part of the campaign.
The also advised the eligible voters in the state to make use of the remaining days and obtain their Permanent Voters’ Card, (PVCs) and not be deceived into selling their cards.
