THE National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), on Monday, said that it was high time the Nigerian workers reaped the fruits of their labour.
The NANS President, Mr Chinonso Obasi, made this assertion on the occasion of Workers’ Day in Abuja.
He said that despite the challenges including the menace of corruption, the Nigerian working class had remained the only option for the continued sustenance of nationhood.
“We immensely thank every Nigerian worker for their love, passion and service to nationhood.
“We unanimously support the agitation by Nigerians that the least worker be paid a minimum wage of N100, 000 monthly under the prevailing economic atmosphere in the country.”
