A political group for President Muhammadu Buhari, the Coalition of Buhari Osinbajo Movement (COBOM), has bragged that the group have over 10 million members in the six geopolitical zones across the country and will mobilize each member to go and vote for the President in the forthcoming election.
Revealing this in Abuja at the inauguration of National and States coordinators of COBOM, Patron of the group, Gen. Audu Garba Rtd stated that, “this Coalition has almost about 10 million people, they are ready, they have PVCs, come 16th February 2019, this group, all the youths that you are seeing here will vote for President Buhari.”
He said further that the group is going to vote for the President because “they have a conviction in President Buhari, they have conviction in his work, they have conviction in the progress the country is making, and they have the hope that the President is going to take them to the next level.”

“This Coalition is going to give Buhari 10 million votes from 774 local governments in Nigeria. I am sure you are seeing the crowd that has gathered here” referring to a crowd of supporters surrounding him, comprising majorly of young boys.
In his address, the chairman of the group, Austin Gabriel said COBOM will harness the potentials that they have, “with our youths we will ensure that the good works started by this President or the administration continues.”
He noted that the present administration has brought about development in the country in major areas, “they have been big changes in the fight against corruption, in infrastructure, and other areas” adding that the country has witnessed development despite gross financial challenges.
Austin said COBOM is everywhere, “even in the East, Igbos are core Buharist,” urging Nigerians to get their PVCs ready in order not to return the people that stole the country blind to power.
Among the people inaugurated were, Uche Anaku, Southeast National Coordinator; Dr. Joseph Ebong, media Coordinator; Hajia Maryam Ali, National Women leader among others.
According to COBOM brochure, a Buhari Support Group known as Change Ambassadors of Nigeria (CAN) in 2014 campaigned vigorously online for the election of PMB using Social media and had thousands of known Social Media influencers in its rakes.
It stated that COBOM was convened from the old CAN by putting together Nigerians that believe in Nigeria’s rebirth and total emancipation from poverty and corruption induced afflictions to a progressive Nigeria under the present administration.
