Heavy windstorm has destroyed vehicles belonging to two popular transport companies in Owerri worth several millions of naira.
The windstorm which started Friday night with a heavy rain fall suddenly pulled down a might bill board mounted at the popular Mbaise park along Mbaise/Egbu road which descended on the two hummer buses and a Siena vehicle belonging to Kaduna Transport line and Plateau Delta Way Company respectfully.
The three vehicles were packed inside the Mbaise park which is their loading base before the ugly incident occurred.
The destruction equally affected the high tension electric wire that supplies light to the resident of the area.
The situation, however, coursed serious panic and fears on the drivers who use the Chukwuma Nwoha road because of the falling dangerous electric wire.
Though no life was lost in the incident.
All effort made to contact the owners of the transport company to react to the incident failed as they were no where to be found.
