Shuaheeb dragged his wife to the court stating that she is promiscuous.
“My wife is having an affair with another man in the same environment where we live. We have been married for 10 years and our union has produced two children.
“I noticed some strange behaviour in her of late. She eats sand, candle and also drink palm oil.
“The worst thing she did that made me drag her to court was that she remarried without giving me a notice of divorce.
The court asked Shuaheeb if he informed his wife’s parents.
He said:
“No. Each time I asked her to take me to her parents, she would tell me her mother is dead, not knowing she had been lying to me. I want a divorce because she no longer loves me.
The defendant failed to appear in court.
The court president, Mr Olafenwa Ramoni Ola-City after listening to the couple dissolved their marriage and awarded custody of both children to the plaintiff.
