The Niger Delta Youth Peace Builders has pledged its support for Chief Dimgba Eruba as Abia representative in the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
In a statement they issued today and signed by the President of Niger Delta Youth Peace Builders, Comrade Chibuike Emmanuel, they pledged their support for the nomination of Chief Dimgba Eruba as Abia representative in the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC stating that they were aware of claims that Chief Eruba is not a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC noting that the claims are false, having personally witnessed Chief Eruba’s active participation in the APC, both during the campaign and electioneering process.
“I have no doubt that Chief Eruba is a loyal and dedicated party member. He will represent the interests of Abia State and the APC well in the NDDC Board”, the youths President said and commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for making the wise decision to nominate Chief Eruba as Abia representative.
According to the youths President, Chief Eruba is a seasoned technocrat with a wealth of experience in the oil and gas sector and is also a well-known philanthropist and community leader, adding, “I am confident that Chief Eruba will use his skills and experience to bring much-needed development to Abia State and the Niger Delta region”.
He urged all APC members in Abia State to support Chief Eruba’s nomination, advising “He is the best person for the job, and he will make us all proud”
Comrade Emmanuel also acknowledged the efforts of Ben Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, in ensuring Chief Eruba’s nomination adding that Ben Kalu has been a strong advocate for peace and unity within the party, and has worked tirelessly to promote the interests of Abia.
“I urge all APC members in Abia State to embrace peace and collaboration as a way forward instead of divisive actions. We must all work together to build a stronger party and a better future for our state”, he advised.
Also speaking, an APC faithful in the state, Steven Emmanuel, assured the support of the party for the NDDC board nominee, who he described as “a deep thinker, educated, accessible and smart individual”, who devoted so much time to campaigning for President Tinubu in Abia State.
According to him, Chief Eruba’s dedication and support for the Abia State APC, impressed the party’s leadership to nominate him as the state representative in NDDC, pointing out his conviction that Chief Eruba is qualified to represent Abia State in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC Board.
President Bola Tinubu had on the 29th August approved the appointment of a new Board and Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC with Dimgba Eruba as Abia representative.
