Controversial Nigerian clergyman, Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has revealed why his TikTok account was banned.
According to Odumeje, TikTok disconnected him due to his “dangerous miracles” which the platform deemed too extraordinary. He made this claim while addressing his congregation, stating that his miracles were beyond what the platform could handle.
In a trending video sighted by TRIBUNE ONLINE, Odumeje said: “Even social media is rejecting me. Because of my dangerous miracles the TikTok rejected me. They disconnected me. They said this miracle is beyond them.”
The cleric blamed those who don’t believe in his miracles for orchestrating his ban, insisting that his account was shut down due to their complaints.
Odumeje’s unconventional methods and claims of performing miraculous feats have sparked intense debate and criticism. While his followers hail him as a powerful man of God, skeptics question the authenticity of his miracles.
TikTok’s community guidelines prohibit content promoting harmful or misleading information, including fake or staged miracles. It’s unclear whether Odumeje’s content specifically violated these guidelines.
The ban has sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting Odumeje’s right to freedom of expression and others applauding TikTok’s decision to curb potentially harmful content.
