“Molue is a solo drama of comic sketches depicting the typical chaotic situation characterised by the daily struggles experienced by commuters of the big Lagos city commercial buses called Molue. Having been performed several times at various theatres within and outside Nigeria, the play has just been published into a book form,” the comedian and musician disclosed in a statement.
The twin event will hold on October 21 at Cinema Hall 1, National Theatre, Lagos by 2pm and will be attended by guests including vice-chancellor, University of Lagos, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe; chairman, Resort International Ltd and Pro-Chancellor, University of Lagos, Dr. Wale Babalakin; Fadesewa of Simawa, Oba Gbenga Sonuga and Secretary to the Lagos State Government, Tunji Bello.
Others are Ogun State Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Tourism, Olumuyiwa Oladipupo and his Lagos State counterpart, Steve Ayorinde; Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Gani Adams; Mrs Abimbola Fashola; Chief (Mrs.) Nike Okundaye, and former Director, Centre for Black Arts Culture and Civilization (CBAAC),Prof. Tunde Babawale.
