KANO State chapter of Tourism Corpers Association of Nigeria has presented an award of ‘2018 Philanthropist of our Time’ to the Vice Presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alh Shehu Musa Gabam.
A press statement from the Duke/Gabam 2019 Project Support Group made available to Journalists in Bauchi on Wednesday contained that the award was presented during the end of the year dinner party and passing out of the 2017 Batch B Corps members held in Kano State.
The President of the Association, Sternley Onuh said that the decision to present the award to Shehu Gabam was due to his commitment and dedication to nation building and also for his selfless services to humanity.

He added that: “Shehu Gabam has become a popular name within Nigerian politics today as he represents the voice of the voiceless Nigerian youths. We have confidence in him we wish him all the best long life and prosperity.”
Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan, the SDP youth speaker for Bauchi State and also Students and youth activist in Nigerian who received the award on behalf of Shehu Gabam said that the SDP Vice Presidential candidate is a leader that have the youths at heart, a leader that has contributed to the development of Nigerian politics, youth empowerment and always rendering his services to peace, unity and progress of Nigeria irrespective of religion or ethnicity.”
He added that: ” he is a leader for excellence and an exemplary leader that we need in this country and therefore am calling on Nigerian youths to leave the issue of money politics, thuggery and drug abuse, we should join our hands for the betterment of Nigeria.”
Sani Hassan further said that: “A country where everyone will live peacefully and accommodative to each other. We are the future leaders of tomorrow, without any fair of contradiction, Duke and Gabam are the right leaders who can represent the youths and the masses of this Country, let us join our hands and support them.”
