For his exemplary leadership qualities, Time Africa Magazine has presented an award to the General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Asaba, Mr. Frankwhyte Osabohien . The editor of the magazine in West Africa, Mr Okorie Chidi-Peters, while presenting the award to Osabohien applauded him for his contributions to the development of the broadcasting outfit Chidi-Peters said the general manager was nominated for the award in November 2021 for his outstanding leadership style as a way to encourage him to keep doing his best. The editor observed that the various contents and programmes of DBS, Asaba had improved in telling and meeting the yearnings of the audience and urged the General Manager and his management team not to relent on their good deeds. In his response, Osabohien appreciated Time Africa Magazine for finding him worthy of a recipient of the magazine prestigious award. He said prior to his assumption as General Manager, the station lacked modern equipment and the environment was also in bad shape but through the collective effort of the management and the board, the narrative became positive. The Head of Department, News and Current Affairs, Mr Akpati Ogude and the Head of Marketing, Mrs. Christine Emetulu who witnessed the ceremony thanked the management of Time Africa for deeming it fit to reward the General Manager and assured that they will continue to support him.
