It had been war and war up till 72 years ago when World War II ended. Thus, the bitter truth is that no right-thinking person should get into the war-mode with the Western world.
Actually, what ended 72 years ago was a “hot” war. Since then, there was a prolonged Cold War that eventually wrecked the then Soviet Union and now there is an ongoing war on terror.
Among the old city-states, the old dominions, the old kingdoms, the old territories, and modern-day nations of the West, the British, as we know them today, have always stood out for their grit and collective intelligence. It is impressive that English is now the lingua franca of the world.
This is why it was a bad idea for radical terrorists to begin attacking the British homeland starting from 7th July 2005 (the underground suicide bombings) and continuing through March 22, 2017 (the attack at Westminster Bridge and at Parliament); May 24, 2017 (the attack at Manchester Arena), and June 3, 2017 (the attack at London Bridge and Borough Market).
The gritty Brits I know will always repel attacks.
If terrorist attacks persist in the British Isles, the Britishers would rise under the banner of King Richard, The Lionheart, and reply the terror, as it were.
To the radical Islamic terrorists who so keenly abhor the West, a non-violent Islamic State should be sought outside of Europe where they can peacefully repair to.
