Temitope Emiola’s journey is one marked by a deep understanding of the challenges faced by talents in emerging markets and a relentless drive to create pathways for global opportunity.

Raised and professionally nurtured in Nigeria’s vibrant tech ecosystem, Tope’s career has been a testament to bridging local innovation with global markets.

Her early experiences navigating the complexities of tech startups in Africa gave her firsthand insight into the barriers that entrepreneurs and creatives face when trying to scale beyond borders.

This personal connection fuels her passion today as she leads marketing and growth at AgoraVisa, a U.S.-based technology-led company dedicated to simplifying global mobility for emerging market talents.

AgoraVisa, founded in 2024 by immigrant entrepreneur Oluyomi Ojo, emerged from a clear need: to dismantle the bureaucratic and systemic hurdles that limit access to U.S. employment-based visas for African and Southeast Asian talents.

Despite the U.S. issuing approximately 140,000 employment-based immigrant visas annually, Africans receive less than 10%, highlighting a significant gap between demand and access.

As AgoraVisa’s first Head of Growth and Marketing, Emiola is tasked with building the company’s commercial infrastructure from the ground up. Her role encompasses digital acquisition, outbound systems, partnerships, and market expansion, focusing initially on key markets like Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and the Philippines.

“I’m proud to bring my experience from Nigeria’s fast-growing tech ecosystem to a U.S. company tackling global challenges,” Emiola said.

“AgoraVisa’s mission resonates with me because I’ve lived the realities of emerging market talents. Now, I get to help build the growth systems that connect these founders and innovators to global mobility.”

Emiola’s seven-plus years in marketing and growth leadership span diverse sectors and geographies. At Cova, a global asset management SaaS, she led international go-to-market strategy and demand generation.

At PricePally, a Nigerian agric-tech startup, she designed scalable growth and marketing frameworks that powered national expansion and successful fundraising rounds.

Beyond these roles, Emiola has served as a fractional growth partner for global B2B teams, building outbound infrastructure that connected them with decision-makers at leading companies. This blend of experience equips her uniquely to spearhead AgoraVisa’s ambitious growth plans.

AgoraVisa’s approach is distinctive. The company leverages tech and AI infrastructure to assess visa eligibility by matching applicant data against U.S. policy manuals and past successful cases. Clients are onboarded through a cloud-based system, paired with case managers, and represented by independent attorneys.

While companies like Boundless Immigration and Nova Credit have established themselves in family-based immigration and cross-border credit data, AgoraVisa’s niche focus on high-skill visas for emerging market talent sets it apart.

For Emiola, the role is more than just driving numbers. “This is about giving talented people from emerging markets the chance to thrive globally,” she explained.

“Our work opens doors for thousands of innovators from Africa and Southeast Asia to access opportunities in the United States.”

As AgoraVisa transitions from stealth to full operation, Emiola’s leadership will be pivotal in scaling the company’s mission and impact.
