As part of a heartfelt address marking the commencement of Ramadan, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal announced that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State will distribute essential aid to 30,000 households. This initiative underscores the party’s commitment to unity, compassion, and community support during the holy month.
Senator Tambuwal began by expressing gratitude to Allah for the blessing of witnessing another Ramadan, acknowledging the privilege of observing this sacred period.
He emphasised the importance of reflection, generosity, and prayer for continued health and prosperity.
He lauded the unwavering dedication of the PDP’s leadership in Sokoto State, highlighting their efforts in organising, mobilising, and strengthening the party.
Tambuwal reaffirmed the party’s unity and resilience, expressing determination to reclaim their mandate following the previous elections. He stated that, “by Allah’s grace, through strategic efforts and unwavering commitment, justice shall be restored”.
Tambuwal commended the elected representatives in both the State House of Assembly and the House of Representatives for their dedication to serving their constituents. He praised their consistent engagement and true leadership, which reflect their commitment to service.
The former governor also gave special recognition to the younger generation within the party for initiating a groundbreaking programme aimed at empowering team members and the youth, a first in Sokoto. “This initiative signifies a new chapter in the community’s progress and development.”

Tambuwal prayed for blessings upon all contributors to this noble cause, seeking divine guidance on the path of unity and service. He called for steadfastness in collective efforts, expressing hope that, by Allah’s will, the community will soon achieve its aspirations.
