The Office of the Surveyor-General of the Federation (OSGoF) on Tuesday said it has generated over N30 million within one month.
It also disclosed plans to increase its Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) through the operationalisation of its data centre.
The Acting Surveyor-General of the Federation (SGoF), Surv. Abduganiyu Adeyemi Adebomehin made the disclosure when two of his former counterparts paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Abuja.
Surv. Adebomehin who reaffirmed his commitment towards improving the capacity of the Office for better service delivery and increased IGR that would be sustained said many of its facilities and services were being franchised in line with the Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
He said this will help provide optimum services and maximize profits.
Also maintained that the Office has about the best state-of-the-art printing press in the country and urged for patronage.
According to him, the operationalisation of the High-Performance Data Centre alone could generate between N100 million and N200 million.
On his part, former SGoF, Surv. Fuad A. Kassim and his successor in 2006, Surv. Isaac A. Adewola commended Surv. Adebomehin for franchising major facilities and services of the Office for improved IGR.
They however appealed to the Federal Government to ensure the appointment of the substantive SGoF from within.
