For some weeks now, any time I take any beverage or tea, I always develop stomach upset with serious belching and foul smelling gas. This usually goes on for about one hour until the stomach upset relieves me. Kindly tell me what to do.

Aham (by SMS)

Although you did not mention anything about milk, it is very likely that it is the milk in the tea or beverage that you are consuming that you are reacting to. This kind of reaction is common among people who lack the enzyme for digesting milk, a condition called, Lactase Deficiency. You may try taking tea without milk and see if this is your problem. If not, then you may stop taking tea and beverages and switch to something else such as fresh fruit juice.
