Lead actor, Lucious (Terrence Howard) makes his first public appearance since the explosion in Las Vagas, but still has no memory of his family, Empire or his life before the accident.
A devastated Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) struggles to rebuild her relationship with him, while keeping a close eye on his nurse. Meanwhile, Andre, Lyons son, starred by Trai Byers is faced with an investigation by the LAPD surrounding the night of the Las Vegas explosion.
The series is produced by 20th Century Fox, in association with Imagine Entertainment, Lee Daniels Entertainment, Danny Strong Productions and Little Chicken Inc. The show-runners for this season are Ilene Chaiken, Danny Strong and Lee Daniels.
