The South East All Progressives Congress (APC) Zonal Executive has expressed appreciation to Senator Tony Nwoye, who represents Anambra North Senatorial District under the Labour Party (LP), for advocating for additional ministerial slots for the South East region in the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The APC zonal executive also commended other senators from the region who are championing the same cause.
In a letter signed by Dr Ijeomah Arodiogbu, the South East Zonal Chairman of the Party, the APC praised Senator Tony Nwoye for his dedication to service, quality representation, and efforts in promoting equity and fairness.
The letter acknowledged Nwoye’s motion in the Nigerian Senate to ensure balanced representation of the South East in the Ministerial Nomination Lists presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The party congratulated Senator Tony Nwoye on his electoral victory and assured him of their collaboration to provide quality representation for the people of Anambra North and the South East as a whole.
The letter also commended other South East senators, including Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Senator Osita Izunaso, for their quality representation in the 10th Senate.
Senator Nwoye’s media aide, Paschal Candle, shared a copy of the letter with journalists in Awka, the capital of Anambra State.
