Soludo’s house was not attacked, Police debunk report

Anambra State Police Command has debunked reports claiming that the house of the Governor of Anambra Prof. Chukwuma Soludo was attacked.

In a statement made available to Tribune Online, by DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, PPRO Anambra State command read:

“Soludo’s house was not attacked. To set the records straight, the Police observation point along Ekwulobia expressway, in Aguata Local Government Area, came under attack late hours of yesterday.”

The Mobile personnel posted at the point, gallantry repel the attack but unfortunately, three of them sustained gunshot injuries during the gun battle with the hoodlums.

Following the quick deployment of operatives in the area by the command, calm has since returned in the area.

Meanwhile, Operation is still ongoing and further details shall be communicated.
