Sokoto state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for picking a competent hand as a nominee from the state.
The state publicity secretary, Alhaji Sambo Danchadi, who spoke with our correspondent in Sokoto described the state nominee, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi, as a competent and hard-working person who has enough experience to deliver as minister of the federal republic when finally confirmed.
According to him, “the nominee is eminently qualified. He was a permanent Secretary, a Secretary to the State Government and also a Gubernatorial Candidate in the 2007 election.

“He has served as Chairman, Campaign Council of the APC in the 2015 and the 2019 elections. He is also currently serving as the Chairman, National Commission for Colleges of Education”.
It will be recalled that President Buhari submitted his nominee for the post of minister of the federal republic of Nigeria to the Senate and was read on the floor by the Senate President, Senator Ahmed Lawan.
The nominee includes the former gubernatorial candidate of Democratic People’s Party (DPP), in 2007 gubernatorial election in Sokoto, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi alongside 42 others.
