Simisola nee Ogunleye popularly called Simi, Nigerian songwriter, actress, award-winning vocalist and now ‘Stoopid Sessions’ show host, has released her first single of the year entitled, ‘’Duduke’.
She made the announcement of the single about a week ago and fans had gladly taken time out to listen and download the afro music. She also released the video few days after, on her birthday, April 19th, making it something to talk about with the revelation of her baby bump. Over time, her pregnancy had been guessed, rumoured and discussed but she made a remarkable comeback and response to clear the air with the video.
She posted on her Twitter account: “Happy Birthday Simi. My heart is racing too fast to say anything else. #Prayforme #DudukeVideo”
With the caption, comments flew about, responding to how significant she had made her birthday a day to also make the public announcement of her pregnancy with a song, dedicated to the unborn baby.
Simi is married to popular singer, Adekunle Gold Kosoko and they had also celebrated their first year anniversary in January 2020.
Her ‘Duduke ‘ video which has over 560,000 streams on YouTube has been trending as top 10 on several musical apps.
