The long awaited album of the guitar craftsman, Seun Marcus, entitled Embracement is set to hit the music shelves next week.
The 5 -track album boast of songs that encourage people to take life easy and never give up on being hard working despite the challenges they may encounter.
With tracks like K’ama seru egbe, S’omi Baba, Take it easy, Juju extra and Oro mi ti d’ayo, the album is believed to be one of the most talked about in the music circle.
Seun Marcus’ while speaking about his career said his dexterity on guitar has endeared him to many Juju music lovers globally, which today reflects in the latest album.
As a musician who has passed through the tutelage of King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Dele Abiodun among others, he admitted that his historical perspective of Juju music was influenced by some of idols in the game.
A sneak preview of the album revealed how he confronts the challenges of life and the global economy issues, which was showcased in the track, ‘Take it easy’
In an interview with R, he said, “music production has gone intercontinental and highly analytical. The album tells the story of how far we have gone in revolutionising Juju.
‘’My producer, Paul Muyiwa Awotunsin whose taste for quality has helped us progressively, did a great work on the album and I appreciate him greatly’’.
